8. Reduction of Radiation, Electro Magnetic Fields, Heat

• monitors are a source of radiation and electro magnetic fields. They may be reduced by lead filters, LCD displays. Some eco labels like TCO95 include maximum levels of radiation, etc.
• especially larger number of PCs or can heat a room very much therefore it might be necessary to cool the room. This ca be reduced by using standby (powerdown) techniques.
